1. I want to get a treatment, but don’t know where to start. What would you recommend?

My favorite place to start is to find what you’d like to work on whether it may be hydration, pigment, aging, acne, etc..whatever it may be. Once you have that down, we can narrow down what treatments would be best for your specific issue. If you are looking to target a little of everything or just relax, a Custom Facial is the best option for anyone whether that’s your first visit or in-between advanced treatments. Another great route is an “undecided appointment” where we have 90 min to do a consultation as well as decide on a treatment that best suits you.

2. Do you offer Chemical Peels?

We offer a wide variety of chemical peels, but we do need you to be on a home regimen for at least 4 weeks and would preferably like to treat your skin once before to make sure there are no contraindications.

3. How does Face Reality Work?

Face Reality Skincare is an award-winning acne treatment program dedicated to giving you clear, healthy skin that helps you feel your absolute best. Typically that includes a personalized skin care routine and treatments biweekly.

4. Is there any aftercare after my facial?

While this answer varies treatment by treatment, you typically want to make sure you are staying hydrated internally and externally. You want to wear SPF daily, a minimum of 30 SPF and reapplying every 2-4 hours. Most importantly, avoiding any actives (exfoliants, acids, scrubs etc…) for at least 72 hours, but varies on which treatment you got.

5. Can anyone get waxed?

As long as there are no contraindications, absolutely anyone can get waxed. Elysian Aesthetics is a safe space for any person, religion, identity, gender, whatever it may be.

6. How long do lash extensions last?

Lash extensions vary, but typically you will need to get fills every 2-3 weeks because as your natural lashes shed, the extensions fall off along with it. While this is the average, everyone is different. If you have more oily eyelids, sweat more or wear eye makeup more, you may need to come in every 2 weeks or for mini fills. Some clients will last 4-6 weeks, but this is not as common.

7. What is the aftercare for waxing?

Typically, you will want to exfoliate and hydrate the waxed area weekly. You will want to invest in some high quality products to keep your results and prevent ingrown hairs, redness and irritation. Typically, you will want to exfoliate 2-3x a week and exfoliating daily.

8. Why did you choose Lira Clinical & Circadia?

Personally, I want the best results. There are many brands that feel good, smell nice, have beautiful packaging, but do not give results. I am result driven. I have truly seen the best results with the brands I currently use. These brands heal the skin while treating the skin, which I believe is the best way to get these results.

9. What is the difference between Hybrid Lashes & Volume Lashes?

Hybrid Lash extensions are a blend of Classic Lashes and Volume Lashes. Classic Lashes are a 1:1 Ratio of Extension per lash. Volume Lashes are one fan of lashes ranging from 4-16 lashes per fan. Each of those fans are applied to one natural lash. Hybrid lashes are a mix of individual lashes and fans of lashes.

10. How many facials do I need to achieve my results?

There isn’t a perfect answer for this since this is so variable. If we are talking about something specific like Face Reality, you will most likely be clear by 3-6 months. If we are working on other skin issues, this depends on how often you are coming in for treatments as well as how well you are following your homecare routine and how often you actually do that routine.
